With temperatures beginning to rise to an all-time high this weekend, Polar Ice House locations in Cary, Garner and Wake Forest are excited to announce their third annual ‘Beat the Heat’ promotion where Triangle residents can ice skate, cool down and escape the heat.
Starting tomorrow, June 30, skaters can begin taking advantage of this “cool” promotion for the remainder of the summer. Each day the temperature rises above 95 degrees, all three Polar Ice House locations will offer an exclusive “Buy One, Get One Free Admission.”
“The news has been talking a lot about record-breaking temperatures lately, and some say there isn’t much out there to cool people down,” General Manager Randy Lee said. “Ice skating is a great way to have fun, exercise and stay cool at a safe temperature. This special was very popular last summer with kids and parents so we’re launching it again this year in response to the recent heat wave.”
