Spanish for Kids: Boca Beth Review and Giveaway

Boca Beth is an adorable, creative, and easy to learn Spanish Language program for young children. Boca Beth products feature a true bilingual presentation where English and Spanish are presented side-by-side called Parallel Text and their products are teacher-created and classroom tested with more than 8 years of successful bilingual learning fun around the world.

I love the idea of children learning another language and regret I did not do it with my own when they were really young. My high schoolers take Spanish and Latin now, but the only foreign language words and phrases my other two know are how to ask "where's the bathroom", "where are we", and well of course, their favourite dishes, in Italian. (Which is still important and I will touch on that in more detail in my Tuesday Travel Tip series :-)

My friend Stacy is a homeschool mom who has two adorable little boys, Logan and Lane. Boca Beth sent me a Beginner Set to review and I asked Stacy if she wouldn't mind incorporating into her school work and write the review on it. (my kids are a bit too old for BocaBeth, but it is such a fantastic foreign language learning concept I wanted to be able to share it with all of you). Happily Stacy said "yes" YAY! Here is what Stacy, Lane, and Logan thought of their Boca Beth Beginner Set:

"Boca Beth is a fun and easy to use product for early introduction of Spanish for young children. The videos are done in a way that keeps the kids entertained and engaged! My kids both jumped up and joined in when the songs started playing and the kids started dancing. I was surprised that even after just watching it once, they were starting to try and sing some of the words to the songs. My kids aren't typically "talk to the television" children but both were repeating words immediately throughout the video. Boca the puppet is very cute and the kids love playing with it. My older son 5 1/2 yrs old loves to use it to "teach" my youngest 2 1/2 yr old. I would definitely recommend this product to parents/teachers who are starting to introduce Spanish as a second language". ¡Muchas gracias SeƱora Stacy! Boca Beth was kind enough to offer another Beginner Set which included their first bilingual music CD and DVD, BOCA the puppet, their coloring book, and an easy reading How to Guide for a giveaway for My Atlanta Mommy readers! ¡Muy Amable! Click here for a chance to win one of these fun and educational programs for your family. The giveaway will end at noon on Cinco de Mayo.*

*I recently read a blonde joke that went "yeah, I know what Cinco de Mayo IS, I just don't know WHEN it is. I am hoping you do know ;-)
