Craft Saturday: Jingle Bell Poneytail Holders

Courtesy of Martha Stewart Kids, Volume 2 2001

These are easy to make, kids can string together a dozen or so to give away to friends. Makes a great add-on to a present too!

Directions
Cut a 16-inch length of elastic cord (available from sewing and craft stores). Thread on two jingle bells by their loops. Wrap the elastic into a squashed circle, as shown below. Grasp the two ends of the circle (you'll have three layers of elastic and one bell in each hand), twist them around, and tie them in a knot. Pull the knot as tight as you can, and trim the stray ends.
