If you haven't checked out your local ALDI grocery store yet, you honestly should. The first time I shopped at ALDI was 20+ years ago when I was in college. It has come a long way since then. ALDI now carries such things as household items, linens, tools, make-up, as well as fresh fruit and veggies, and specialty items such as hummus and salsa. Each week ALDI offers special buys on 20 - 30 different items, and as they say, "they could literally be anything". They don't provide shopping bags. You can bring your own or you may purchase some at the store. Plastic bags are .10 and insulate bags are .99.
In order to get a grocery cart you will need a quarter. You'll get your quarter back once you are done shopping - it's simply done this way to save money on store costs by making sure you put your own cart back. This is my kids favourite part of shopping at ALDI.
For a quick dinner - make mini burgers and use Kings rolls as the buns.
my kids LOVE this!
